Three regional ISMET 2026 Conferences: Call for Proposals Open

The ISMET Conference Committee is pleased to announce a call for proposals to
organize the next regional ISMET meetings in 2026. These are the premier regional
meetings in North-America (NA-ISMET), Europe (EU-ISMET), and the Asian-Pacific area
(AP-ISMET) on microbial electrochemistry and technology. We especially encourage the
EU and AP community to prepare a proposal, since those meetings happened in 2023.
The call for proposals is open for the entire ISMET community. We are requesting a ~2-
page proposal* with information on where the meeting will be held, the venue, and the
expected cost for registration, which we would like to keep relatively low (<$350).
Proposals need to be discussed with the ISMET conference committee (budgets,
communication, etc) before submission.
ISMET expects the organizers to follow the ISMET conference handbook and the code of
conduct of ISMET.
